Peace in Chaos

How do we live in harmony with ourselves and with the world around us?

Running away is the most natural reaction of the brain when it perceives threat. In today’s world the threats are the stress, toxic people, the pressure to achieve more and we can find several other reasons that increase the need within us to run away.
We have the impression that one week of holiday will help us to be peaceful, but the peace we maintain during our retreat quickly fades away after we arrive back.

I could tell you to do yoga, meditation and find the purpose of your life and you will never feel crappy again. But instead of giving ideas which might or might not have worked for others, I invite you to a space where you can discover the obstacles of creating your desired the state of being, you can become aware of what is serving you and what is not, and you can create your own practices to reach your goals and lead a purposeful, aware life.

Let’s break the extremes and the illusion of the mind that running away is protecting us and explore the different dimensions of life.

The Story of CityYogi

In the past years, during individual and group coaching sessions, I have heard many times that it sounds great that I create my own peace, but in real life this cannot be achieved when there is work, family, children, and we didn’t talk about the presence of other people and even strangers.

I always understood this thought, but I believed that whatever happens, inner peace could be maintained. 2020 took us, including me, to the extremes, which taught me the essence of the idea above. When the pandemic started and suddenly everyone stayed home, I experienced how easy it is to stay calm in my own space after my meditation and yoga practice.

But then the country opened, I found myself among people and so many stimuli, I drifted into chaos and my peace faded.

I realized that the challenge is not only to tap into the state of inner peace and gain self-awareness, but also to be able to keep it while we are facing challenges and experiencing uncomfortable situations.

Between the two extremes shone the golden mean, that I call CityYogi.

It represents the centred, aware, and peaceful self in the chaos.

My goal is to give you space to find the CityYogi that lives in you. The first step in creating a peaceful life is to understand ourselves and our place in the world. I can’t teach you to get to know yourself, but I support you to use your insights to get closer to yourself and raise your awareness, as well as find practices that will help you experience the wholeness of life.

With Love, Anita
